Resham Daswani

A chosen path...

Resham Daswani is a spiritual seeker of higher consciousness. Since childhood, she has felt an inner call to be of guided service to others. From growing up in Hong Kong and hailing from a Hindu lineage, she has been seamlessly connected to all ritual ceremonies of Eastern tradition. 

With a deep reverence for nature and passion for the quantum workings of the Universe, Resham began cultivating a practice of yoga and meditation from a young age. She has studied under a number of gurus and spiritual leaders including the philosophy of Vedanta from Swamini Supriyananda (Chinmaya Mission) in her early years. During this time she began translating her meditation experiences into expressive art and developed a fascination for the Sciences. She began exploring how the laws of physics and our own biological matter was connected to Consciousness and became greatly influenced by the teachings of The Buddha, Rev. Dada J.P. Vaswani and the sacred Hindu scriptures of The Bhagavad-Gita.

Whilst pursuing a career in the art and design industry, Resham was intuitively called to Taiwan to meet her teacher Wu De and learn about Cha Dao -The Way of Tea. The education shifted her entire being and she found herself in tune with her true path and an infinitely renewed connection with Earth and Spirit. She recently had her formal initiation into the lineage in November 2017. 

Resham currently resides in Hong Kong with a dedication to share an awakening of harmony through Tea within the corporate sector and community events. She practises Vipassana Meditation (S.N. Goenka) and Shiv Yog Sadhna Meditation (Avdhoot Baba Shivanand). She is also the co-founder of  The Garden Gathering which encompasses retreats and gatherings for women, to nurture in sisterhood and ceremony while exploring ways of greater sustainability and living in harmony with our Mother Earth.
